The BC Ferries Indigenous Fuel Alliance (BCFIFA) is a collaborative initiative led by Nation Clean Energy Inc. (NCE) and First Nations whose territories are directly impacted by BC Ferries terminals and operations.
The Alliance brings Nations together to engage collectively with BC Ferries on fuel procurement, advancing solutions that support reconciliation, sustainability, and long-term economic participation.

Individually, Nations are often consulted late or inconsistently on large fuel and infrastructure decisions. The Alliance strengthens collective influence, aligns participating Nations around shared objectives, and creates a structured pathway to engage BC Ferries in meaningful dialogue on fuel sourcing and long-term energy transition.

The Alliance operates on principles of mutual respect, trust, and transparency. Public communications, engagement strategies, and major initiatives are approached collectively and with mutual approval. Participation remains voluntary and flexible.
